I am a native English tutor from the United Kingdom with over 25 years of experience helping students and professionals master the English language. Having lived and worked in Hong Kong for over two decades, I bring a unique "insider" perspective to every lesson.

The Hong Kong Connection

My connection to Hong Kong is both professional and personal. For over 20 years, I taught English to students of all ages, both in learning centres and through private tuition, focusing on small-group tuition where individual correction is key.

As a father whose children attended local Hong Kong schools from kindergarten through to secondary level, I have a firsthand understanding of the immense homework load, exam pressure (DSE), and the competitive interview culture that Hong Kong students face daily.

Business & Academic Expertise

Before moving into full-time tuition, I worked within COSCO Shipping and EDIasia. This experience allows me to help adult learners and university students with "real world" English:

Business Writing: Professional emails, brochures, and reports.

University Coaching: Helping international students in the UK refine their academic presentations and seminar delivery.
